What you should not do in Russia!!! | Was man in Russland nicht machen sollte!!!

After a long walk today it was very urgent for me to go to the ladies room. And because there was no café or anything else I had the idea of going to the next big office building. Normally, you find there clean toilets for free. But unfortunately I chose the Headquarter of the police department without knowing it. And I didn´t thought on the Russian police men! Oooops. I was nearly caged in a small cabin, two policemen in the front behind a window, one to the left, one to the right and one behind me. There weren´t many possibilities how to react and so I told the policemen in the front that I had this really urgent need. And can you imagine his reaction? He tapped his forehead at me! Well, I stayed brave and after I told him the second time my need he was so kindly and told me the way to a café instead of asking me for a fee… And finally the Radisson Hotel has been a good alternative. ;-)

Nach einem ausgedehnten Spaziergang musste ich heute äußerst dringend für kleine Mädchen. Also dachte ich mir in meiner Not, dass ich einfach ins nächste große, nach Bürotrakt oder Stadtbüro aussehende Gebäude gehen könnte. Dort gibt es ja normalerweise immer Toiletten die sauber sind und noch dazu kostenlos. Allerdings, hatte ich mir unwissender Weise das Polizeihauptquartier ausgesucht und dabei nicht mit den russischen Polizisten gerechnet. Tja, da stand ich nun, mehr oder weniger gefangen in einem kleinen Zwischentrakt mit zwei Polizeibeamten vor mir hinter einer Glasscheibe, einem Polizisten links neben mir, einem rechts und einem hinter mir. Was sollte ich jetzt machen? Ich teilte dem Polizisten vor mir mein Bedürfnis mit. Woraufhin der mir den Vogel zeigte. Da ich aber soooo dringend musste und er mir das dann doch ansehen konnte, lies er sich darauf herab, mir ein Café zu empfehlen, anstatt mir ein Bußgeld aufs Auge zu drücken. Glück gehabt. Das Radisson Hotel war dann auch eine gute Alternative. ;-)
